General Travel Team Information

Buffalo Soccer Club competes in the Buffalo Western New York Junior Soccer League.  Club soccer is a little more serious than house league soccer.  Teams will form with players who have the skill and dedication to attend bi-weekly practices and weekly games.  Games are played all over Western New York as we compete against other clubs teams from Amherst, Grand Island, Cheektowaga, Lancaster, etc. 

Timeline

  • See Tryout Information
  • Indoor practices begin in January and run through March
  • League play begins in May 2012

Age Groups

  • The club is looking for kids to help field U10 Boys, U10 Girls, U12 Girls teams next summer
  • Players ages eight (8) to tweleve (13) are eligible to participate

Other Details

  • Roster sizes are 14 player maximum for U10; and 17 for U12
  • Transportation to games is required (Volunteers to help drive kids to games is requested)
  • A volunteer head and assistant coach is required (come on mom and dad!)
  • BSC will provide a professional coach to help organize training sessions for the teams
  • Club players are welcome to still participate in the house league at the end of the summer if they are age appropriate
  • Fees for participation will be held at $75.00. A $25 deposit is due upon acceptance in the program. This fee includes uniforms, referee fees, player registration and insurance. 
  • Financial aid is available.
