Buffalo Soccer Practice Cancellation Policy

Outdoor training sessions are not to be cancelled in advance due to weather unless travel bans are placed in or around the venue of the session.  Upon arrival the coach may delay or cancel the training session only if there is lightning or other 'acts of god' that may harm the players. Families should use their own discretion when deciding on attending a training session that is being held in inclement weather.

Training sessions should only be cancelled in extenuating circumstances. If a training session needs to be cancelled the following procedures should be followed...

More than 24 hours prior to the scheduled session

An email sent out to the families is sufficient.

Less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled session

An email can be sent but it must be supplemented with direct phone calls to each family member.

Less than 2 hours before a scheduled session

Calls should be made directly to families starting with those living farthest away.
