Coach's Agreement

  • You are responsible for all material in the coach resource section of the BSC website.
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and competitions for your assigned team. If you have to miss one, you are responsible for getting a coach to take your place, regardless if you know a second coach is planning on attending.
  • Attend all coaching meetings. You are expected to arrive early and stay until the end.  All material covered in these meetings will be required of you regardless if you attended or not. Follow up material from the meetings will be available in the website.
  • You are expected to communicate on a regular basis with the DOC, team manager, and club officials. Responses to emails and/or phone calls should occur within a maximum of 48 hours. You are expected to be proactive in your communication to them too.
  • You are expected to communicate on a regular basis with the parents of the players on your team. A minimum requirement of one email and one parent meeting a month is expected. These events should optimally occur every other week if possible.
  • General common sense conduct as professional coaches and people is expected at all times, including tournaments and away games. See code of conduct for details.
  • Each coach is expected to better themselves as coaches at every opportunity. In good faith to the players we service, we will work at improving ourselves as coaches while we ask them to improve themselves as players.  (See Coach Education
  • Each coach will be asked to attend all club fundraisers and activities beyond the traditional training sessions and competitions
