Empire United Soccer Academy

There is way too much information about Empire United Soccer Academies to get it all in here. The basic premise has been floating around for a number of years now. The strong working relationship that the Jr. Rhinos, Syracuse FC, and Buffalo United have had is about to jump to a new level. All three clubs are preparing for a merger into one large “super club”. The potential club would be the best players from the entire New York State West state association. The remaining players would continue to be serviced by the local academies, as they are now. The Empire USA teams would enter the high profile leagues and tournaments. http://www.empireunitedsa.org/

About the same time as the Empire USA idea was starting to gain momentum, US Soccer announced its plan for a National Development Academy. Only 60 to 80 clubs across the country would be eligible. Empire USA has submitted a bid for the academy and will use its hopeful acceptance as a catalyst for the Empire USA program as a whole. As additional details are available we will continue to update our members on the progress. For more information on the National Development Academy you can go directly to the US Soccer website.
